Discounts
Run promotions with coupon codes or automatic discounts.
Creating a discount
Go to Pricing → Discounts → Add Discount. You need three things to get started: a name, a discount type, and a value.
Discount types
| Type | Example |
|---|---|
| Percentage | 20% off the order |
| Fixed Amount | 1.000 KWD off |
| Buy One Get One | Buy a latte, get one free |
| Buy X Get Y | Buy 3 items, get 1 free |
| Bundle | A group of items at a special price |
| Free Item | A specific item added at no charge |
Coupon codes vs automatic
If you set a coupon code, customers must type it at checkout for the discount to apply. The code is case-insensitive.
If you leave the coupon code empty, the discount applies automatically whenever the order meets the conditions. Customers see it in their cart without doing anything.
Targeting
The Applies To dropdown controls what the discount covers:
- Entire Order— the default. Discount applies to the whole order total.
- Products, Categories, or Variants — a target picker appears. Search for and select exactly which items should be discounted.
Conditions
The discount form has collapsible condition sections on the right side. All are optional — leave them empty for no restrictions.
- Limits— minimum order amount, minimum items in cart, maximum total uses, maximum uses per customer.
- Schedule— start and end date, active days of the week, daily time window (e.g. 4–6 PM for happy hour).
- Branches— restrict the discount to specific branches. Leave empty to apply at all branches.
Managing discounts
The discount list shows all your discounts with status badges:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Currently valid and being applied. |
| Scheduled | Has a future start date. Activates automatically. |
| Expired | End date has passed. |
| Inactive | Manually toggled off. |
Hover any row to see the delete option. Click a discount to edit it.
