Store Setup
Create your account, name your store, and add your first branch.
Create your account
Go to derahkw.com and click Sign Up. Enter your email address and choose a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link, and you're in.
Name your store
After signing in for the first time, the setup wizard walks you through your brand identity:
- Brand Name (English)— your business name as it appears to English-speaking customers.
- Brand Name (Arabic)— displayed on the Arabic version of your storefront and in RTL layouts.
- Logo— upload a square image, under 2 MB, PNG or JPG. This appears on your storefront header and customer-facing pages.
- Store URL— pick a short slug that becomes your public address. Choosing
my-cafegives youmy-cafe.derahkw.com.
fresh-bakes). This URL is hard to change later, so choose carefully.Timezone
Defaults to Kuwait (Asia/Kuwait, UTC+3). This controls order timestamps, scheduled pricing windows, and reporting periods. If you operate in a different GCC country, change it here.
Add your first branch
A branch is a physical location where orders are prepared — a kitchen, a café, a warehouse. Even if you're online-only, you need one.
Navigate to Settings → Branches & Delivery → Add Branch and fill in:
- Name(English + Arabic) — e.g. “Main Kitchen” or “Salmiya Branch”.
- Branch code— a short unique identifier like
MAINorSLM. Used in order numbers and reports. - Address— the physical street address of the location.
- City— the city or area where the branch is located.
- Phone— a contact number for this branch. Shown to customers on pickup orders.
- Fulfillment toggles — turn on Pickup and/or Delivery depending on how customers receive orders from this location.
Test mode
Your store starts in test mode. While test mode is on, your public URL at your-slug.derahkw.comshows a “Coming Soon” page. Customers cannot browse or place orders.
A testing link is always available in Settings → Store Visibility. This link works regardless of test mode, so you can preview the full storefront, add items to the cart, and place test orders at any time. Share it with your team to get feedback before going live.
You'll turn off test mode at the end of setup, once everything is configured and tested.
